There is now a large body of literature dealing with electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). This multi-author textbook is a welcome addition to the EPR spectroscopy literature. Most of the 27 chapters are carefully written and it could be used as a text for an advanced undergraduate or graduate course in EPR. There are hundreds of examples, well chosen to illustrate the ideas and tremendous progress in the last two decades.
Students and researchers entering the field, in reading this book and experimenting with the techniques presented, can readily see the motivation for each of the topics that they study.
