Organic Light-Emitting Materials and Devices

Organic light-emitting diodes are rapidly taking over display technology, from smartphones to roadside billboards. This big book, in its second edition, provides a single source of information about OLEDs: their synthesis, compositions, properties and applications. There are also discussions of devices that utilize them.

A useful feature is the inclusion of the chemical structures of these compounds and polymers. It nicely completes their characterization. It should be noted that the text is very technical; knowing something about LEDs will greatly facilitate its reading.
