Optical Holography: Materials, Theory and Applications

This book contains an extensive and thorough coverage of basic holographic-related phenomena including pattern, processing, interferometry, and sensing. Although some of the material is quite technical due to the theoretical (Fourier) description of the problems, it will be of interest to a great variety of readers including graduate students, scientists and engineers. The different contributors have attempted to make the book as user-friendly as possible. A detailed table of contents, a uniform system of designating the subdivision of material in each chapter and an extensive index all contribute to helping the reader locate topics of interest. It certainly is a valuable addition to the large textbook literature in holography.
