Infrared and Terahertz Detectors

This is the third edition of a monumental work of more than 1,000 pages dealing with infrared (IR) and terahertz (THz) detectors. Half of the content of the book is revised and updated compared to the previous editions. The book is divided into five parts with the first part dealing with an overview of the detection issues at THz and IR. Parts two through four are dedicated to IR while part five is focused on THz detection. Each of the 28 chapters of the book includes references at the end.

The book is written by an expert in the field in a very clear manner. This is a book that must be read by anybody working in optics since detection in IR and THz are hot topics with very important applications.
