Non-Stationary Electromagnetics

This book, now in its second edition, covers a tremendous amount of ground for the analysis of non-stationary electromagnetic processes. It is concerned primarily with theoretical methods for describing electromagnetic phenomena in microwaves, optoelectronics and photonics where time-domain methods provide a powerful modeling method.

This book targets graduate students, postdocs and faculty who are interested in acquiring the broad background knowledge needed to become successful researchers in this area.

Review by Christian Brosseau, OSA Fellow and professor of physics, Université de Bretagne Occidentale, Brest, France.
