Elastic Scattering of Electromagnetic Radiation

Scattering of electromagnetic radiation by particles is a topic which has important applications in diverse disciplines such as biological and climate sciences. Sharma does an excellent job of focusing on analytical solutions of elastic scattering problems, where the emphasis is to find approximate solutions. However, some important aspects are missing such as the analysis of multiple scattering of polarized light, or imaging objects in diffusive optical media. The target audience for this book includes graduate students of engineering and science, as well as researchers in the field.
