Pulsed Laser Ablation

The book covers the recent advances in the physics and technology of laser ablation and generation of nanoparticles and surface nano- and microstructures. The fourteen chapters, written by experts in the field, are well coordinated: starting with the theory of growth in out-of-equilibrium deposition processes, they then treat wetting, adherence and nanostructuring, and discuss, in detail, mechanisms and deposition parameters in a variety of environments, materials and pulse timescales. This is an invaluable reference for the specialist, but also for anyone involved in nanoparticles and deposition.
