Handbook of Solid-State Lighting and LEDs

This book consists of 24 review chapters that give a comprehensive description of the state of the art in solid-state lighting sources, in particular semiconductor light-emitting diodes (LEDs). This field of research is now mature and has strong impacts in industries ranging from lighting and communications to biotechnology and medicine. The target audience for this text is clearly mid- to upper-level graduate students and device design and processing engineers, but anyone concerned with LED lighting will profit from reading this book.
