This book is written by a collection of authors who are experts in their fields. They have scientific and theoretical knowledge and practical experience in designing solar cells. This is a unique publication that joins the physics, principles, concepts, technologies and methods used in photon management in solar cells, and could serve as a reference for material scientists, physicists, Ph.D. students and engineers.

The book is clearly written, with a lot of excellent illustrations. At the end of each chapter there are substantial references, which are very important for a book of this type. The reader needs to have a solid foundation in university-level mathematics and physics to fully understand the facts presented in the book.
