Introduction to Holography

This textbook is intended for both senior undergraduate and graduate students. It provides the necessary mathematical foundations of holography and practical information on how to apply. Scientists working in the application of holographic techniques will therefore also be interested in this book.

This volume reviews a wide range of holographic applications, from standard applications like holographic displays and holographic interferometry to novel applications like holographic sensors and indicators. Digital holography and computer-generated holograms are also explained in detail. The book is well-structured, with references and practice mathematical problems at the end of each chapter.
