OSA Fellows represent a diverse community of professionals who showcase excellence across optics and photonics. Since 2017, OSA’s awards staff has developed an online series of Fellow Profiles (www.osa.org/fellowprofiles)—interviews with Fellows to share their unique stories, advice and experience with the OSA community. And, though OSA’s Fellows are a diverse group, many of their stories have some enduring, universal themes. Here’s a sample.
