John Schwartzman is a director of photography (cinematographer) with more than three decades of experience on major Hollywood film sets for major motion pictures like Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Jurassic World and more. He is one of the plenary speakers at this month’s OSA Imaging and Applied Optics Congress, taking place in San Francisco, Calif., USA, from 26 to 29 June. We caught up with John to talk about his career, and the role of optics in it.
