OSA Ambassadors: Inspiring the Next Generation

The new OSA Ambassador program launched at the beginning of 2016 with 10 participants. These Ambassador volunteers act as mentors for OSA student chapters and local sections, sharing their experiences and perspectives with students and young professionals. Optics & Photonics News spoke with three of the 2016 Ambassadors—Arti Agrawal, Chad Husko and Antigone Marino—about their time with the program so far, and what they hope to accomplish by the end of the year.
