The National Coalition of Girls’ Schools (NCGS) Science of Light workshop,funded by the OSA Foundation, took place in conjunction with the annual meeting of the NCGS last summer.

A teenage girl attends a three-hour science workshop. When it’s over and she’s asked to provide suggestions for improvement, she says, “Make it longer!” Wishful thinking? Not at all. It’s an actual student response to the recent National Coalition of Girls’ Schools (NCGS) Science of Light workshop, which was funded by the OSA Foundation.
