Laser-Induced Crystallization

A femtosecond laser-induced crystallization of Fresnoite crystal (Sr2TiSi2O8) from a glass of composition 40SrO–20TiO2–40SiO2, with the following parameters: 1.5 µJ/pulse; 1030nm; 350kHz; 10µm/s, 0.6NA; 300 fs; focal depth = 150 µm. Laser polarization is parallel to the writing direction. This was obtained by one of my former Ph.D. students, Xuan He.
