Smart Mini-Cameras

The nine chapters in this book explain applications of miniature camera modules from mobile phones to webcams. Overall, this is an important survey of the latest camera technologies in a developing branch of camera design. For example, it describes the implementation of active functionalities such as liquid crystal auto focus and optical image stabilization.  The book is well organized and the material is clearly presented. It should serve as a basic reference for many years to come.
