A young researcher presents his results at the AMPL-2011 conference in Russia.
In September 2011, OSA supported the 10th international conference for atomic and molecular pulsed lasers (AMPL-2011) held in Tomsk, Russia. About half of the 233 presentations were from young scientists. The AMPL conferences are special because the series is not organized by a single institute or university. Their success relies on the participation of research institutes and universities of the Russian Academy of Science and sponsor support.
