Rep. Ralph Hall, a Republican from Texas, became chairman of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee at the start of the 112th Congress in January 2011. Having worked on the committee since coming to Congress in 1980, he is the longest-serving member, and he has been a ranking member under both the Republican and Democratic parties. OPN recently caught up with Chairman Hall to talk about his priorities for the committee.
