OSA Fellows can apply for travel grants for up to $2,000, to visit and lecture in developing countries. The International Council recently approved an application from Iam-Choon Khoo to visit Indonesia in August. Besides participating in an international photonic workshop, Khoo will deliver tutorials and interact with students from the Institut Teknologi Bandung and neighboring universities. The next application deadline is August 3, 2009. For more info, e-mail awards@osa.org.
